Questions surrounding the treatment of animals in captivity have been asked all the time and to no one's surprise the same ethical problems persist. Alienation is not usually associated with gorillas or chimps but this is what I had in mind when I took these pictures. I felt as if these primates displayed a near telepathic interaction that they honed from years of continuous captivity.
